Synthesis of Heterocycles by Intramolecular Cyclization of Organic Azides
A review of synthetic methodologies reported in the last five years that yield N-heterocyclic products by intramolecular cyclization of organic azides with a particular emphasis on transformations catalyzed by metal complexes is presented. These reactions have been classified according to the ring size of the formed heterocycle.
متن کاملRuthenium-catalyzed cycloaddition of alkynes and organic azides.
Cp*RuCl(PPh3)2 is an effective catalyst for the regioselective "fusion" of organic azides and terminal alkynes, producing 1,5-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles. Internal alkynes also participate in this catalysis, resulting in fully substituted 1,2,3-triazoles.
متن کاملStrain-Promoted 1,3-Dipolar Cycloaddition of Cycloalkynes and Organic Azides
A nearly forgotten reaction discovered more than 60 years ago-the cycloaddition of a cyclic alkyne and an organic azide, leading to an aromatic triazole-enjoys a remarkable popularity. Originally discovered out of pure chemical curiosity, and dusted off early this century as an efficient and clean bioconjugation tool, the usefulness of cyclooctyne-azide cycloaddition is now adopted in a wide ra...
متن کاملCatalytic Aerobic Oxidation of Alkenes by Ag@Metal Organic Framework with High Catalytic Activity and Selectivity
By coupling of Fe2O3@SiO2 particles with metal organic Framework (MOF) the magnetic MOF structure was fabricated. Precipitation and hydrothermal methods were applied for synthesis of core and MOF. Silver nanoparticles were deposited on nickel based metal organic framework surface and magnetic Fe2O3@SiO2@MOF@Ag was obtained. Because of strong coupling between silver nanoparticles and metal organ...
متن کاملDecomposition of hazardous organic materials in the solidification/stabilization process using catalytic-activated carbon.
The application of a catalytic-activated carbon to the solidification/stabilization (S/S) process for immobilization of phenol and 2-chlorophenol and catalytic decomposition was investigated. The effect of the catalytic-activated carbon, in amounts of 0.25-1% (by dry sand wt.), on the leaching of phenol and 2-chlorophenol was studied. H2O2 was added as a source of oxygen in the amounts of 1 or ...
